Pouring the Perfect Blend: Our Data Needs

Must-have (I need it, just like grapes in wine):

Think of this as the core ingredients in crafting a fine wine—without these, we can’t create magic! To help you search for the right wines and keep everything flowing smoothly, here’s what we absolutely need:

  • Inventory data: At the very least, we need the vendor name, item name, and quantity on hand.
  • Bonus points: Details like vintage, region, varietal, wholesale price, retail price, and supplier information can help us refine your search even more—think of it like knowing the perfect pairings.
  • Custom workflows: If you’ve got a custom workflow in place, we need all the data that makes it tick, so we can keep everything running smoothly without missing a beat.

Nice-to-have (I could use it, like aging wine in oak barrels):

While not essential, these extras can add complexity and depth to our recommendations, just like an oak barrel adds richness to wine. Here’s what would help:

  • Order data: We’d love to see your order history for the past year, but if you can go back even further, it’s like finding a well-aged bottle in the cellar! Additional fields like product category, pricing, and shipment status are helpful but not mandatory.

Optional (I don’t really need it, but it adds a nice finish):

Some wines taste fantastic right out of the bottle, no decanting required. Same goes for your customer data—it’s not needed, but if you provide customer emails, websites, or other info, we can deliver a more personal experience, offering recommendations tailored just for them.
